News and Developments

Enders Game Trailer is released!

EA snags a multi year deal to develop core star wars games. With their partner developers like Bioware, DICE, Visceral. Also included in this news is that Bioware will continue to develop and support The Old Republic. Word on casual and mobile games is that Disney will take on that. “Collaborating with one of the world’s premier game developers will allow us to bring an amazing portfolio of new Star Wars titles to our fans around the world.” – Disney co-president John Pleasants also to note, EA notes that there will not be any games until next year.

Interesting side note, monthly revenue has doubled for TOR since they went free-to-play

The batman we almost got. Not as bad as the superman we could have gotten from Tim Burton, Darren Aronofsky was putting together a batman year one film prior to Nolan’s involvement.

She-hulk wanted in assault case, yes seriously.

The York Press reports that “just after 3am on Friday, April 26 – the woman suspected of the assault was covered in green body paint with dyed red hair but is believed to be a white woman.”

With a Spider-Man mugging the other day, this can’t be a  teaser campaign for Kick Ass 2 that’s just gone too far, can it…

3. Awesome fanmade poster in the style of Drew Struzen appears online, shows ot cast at their current age…makes me rethink if I think this is even cool.

4. Harrison Ford back tracks some of his star wars statements saying that was then this is now…still not commenting on his return or not.

Alien secret service officer. The white house has this to say about the allegations.

The White House dismissed the alien bodyguards as too costly in this era of budgetary austerity. “I can’t confirm the claims made in this video, but any alleged program to guard the president with aliens or robots would likely have to be scaled back or eliminated in the sequester,” Caitlin Hayden, the chief spokeswoman for the National Security Council, e-mails Danger Room. “I’d refer you to the Secret Service or Area 51 for more details.” That didn’t seem like a denial….
